DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE EDUCATION

The primary objective of the Department of Mathematics and Science Education is to train teachers who develop positive attitudes towards teaching and have professional skills in their field. Within the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, there are Primary Mathematics Teaching and Science Teaching programs. Students who graduate from these programs are expected to exhibit a model towards their students in terms of personal and professional life, follow innovations in their field for their professional development and have effective communication skills. It also aims to educate teachers who fully understand how students will learn, are confident in the use of technology, have problem-solving skills, attach importance to human rights, democracy and ethics, and emphasize critical thinking, personal reflection and the professional development of teacher candidates.
